Carpenter, Trades ​/ Skilled Labor

At Harmony Gardens of Columbus, we are seeking an experienced and skilled Carpenter to join our team! As a Carpenter, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the beauty of our facilities. Your expertise will ensure that our buildings are sturdy, efficient, and aesthetically pleasing. If you are passionate about craftsmanship and take pride in your work,

• Perform various carpentry tasks, including but not limited to, construction, repair, and maintenance of buildings, structures, and furniture
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and specifications to determine the required materials and equipment
• Measure and mark surfaces to ensure accurate cutting and fitting of materials
• Operate power tools, such as saws, drills, and sanders, to shape and finish materials
• Install, repair, and replace flooring, walls, and roofs made of various materials
• Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively
• Identify and report any safety hazards or concerns to management

• Minimum 2 years of experience in carpentry or a related field
• Strong understanding of carpentry principles, techniques, and safety protocols
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work at heights, as necessary
• Valid driver's license (if applicable)
