Correction Lieutenant - 3rd Shift

Job Description What you’ll do at DBH
  • Supervises correction officers assigned to shift being covered
  • Recommends approval/disapproval of officer leave requests
  • Completes shift reports for submittal to Captain
  • Completes annual and probationary Performance Evaluations as assigned
  • Supports Nursing Leadership on shift as needed
  • Train officers in the security operations at Timothy

    B. Moritz Forensic Unit
  • Monitors & coordinates shift security operations & documents activities
  • Makes daily inspection rounds to observe shift activity & to ensure compliance with all security, safety, fire, health, sanitation & other hospital regulations
  • Response to emergency codes to support staff & patients

This is an hourly position and is exempt from the bargaining units, with a pay range of 11 on the E1 Exempt Pay Range Schedule
.

Normal shift hours are 11:00 pm - 7:00 am. Schedules may be changed to meet operational needs outside of the posted general working hours.
