  • Job Overview: The Ohio Department of Medicaid (ODM) is seeking skilled a Salesforce developer to be part of our Application Development Team. As a Salesforce Developer, your responsibilities will include:
  • Designing, developing, testing, and deploying scalable and secure applications on the Salesforce platform using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and other Salesforce technologies.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into effective technical solutions.
  • Ensuring adherence to best practices in architecture, design patterns, coding standards, and development processes.
  • Conducting code reviews and providing constructive feedback to ensure high‑quality, maintainable code.
  • Managing multiple priorities efficiently while meeting deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Leading and supporting all phases of the software development lifecycle, including unit testing, system integration, user acceptance testing, and deployment.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, ensuring optimal performance and user experience.
  • Maintaining comprehensive documentation, including technical specifications, user guides, and training materials.
  • Staying current with Salesforce platform updates, new features, and industry trends; proactively recommending enhancements and improvements.
  • Collaborating with administrators, analysts, and other developers to ensure seamless integration with other systems and platforms.
