The NF Integrated Digital Services team is seeking a detail-oriented Software Engineer with advanced Java and SQL skills to support our eB2B systems. eB2B enables critical business processes for the Annuities, Life Insurance, and Retirement Solutions lines of business, ensuring Firms and Advisors can issue new business and service their customers efficiently.

As a Software Engineer on the eB2B team, you'll play a key role in designing, developing, and optimizing data solutions that support electronic order entry systems, DTCC feed transmission, and file transfer management systems. You'll work closely with our team and business partners to ensure data integrity, performance, and scalability across our platforms.

• Analyzes, solutions, develops, tests, debugs, documents and deploys software according to standards in an agile environment.
• Applies secure software and systems engineering practices throughout the delivery lifecycle to ensure our data and technology solutions are protected from threats and vulnerabilities.
• Uses Dev Sec Ops  practices, tooling and techniques.
• Drives continuous improvement and learning through ongoing training, practice and innovation.
• Manages medium to large project priorities, deadlines and deliverables proactively.

May Perform Other Responsibilities As Assigned.

Reporting Relationships: Reports to a Technology Manager/Director.

Education: Completion of undergraduate studies in computer science, management information systems, or other related degree. Technology experience or non-traditional technology certificates can be substituted for an undergraduate degree.

Experience: Four or more years of analysis and technology experience.

Knowledge, Abilities and

Skills:

Proficiency in one or more programming language such as Java, SQL, C++, Python, JavaScript. Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle. Proven ability to tackle complex business and development problems. Ability to thrive in a team environment. Insurance/financial services industry knowledge a plus.

Other criteria, including leadership skills, competencies and experiences may take precedence.

Staffing exceptions to the above must be approved by the hiring manager’s leader and Human Resources Business Partner.
