Senior Java Developer – API & Authentication

We’re building an onshore development team to standardize authentication across more than 15 enterprise applications. This role focuses on creating secure, scalable API solutions using Spring Boot, Apigee, and OAuth/OpenID Connect that integrate with our enterprise identity platform (Ping Federate). You’ll work closely with Cybersecurity, API platform, and application teams to ensure a unified login approach across the organization.

• Design, develop, and deploy secure APIs and services using Java Spring Boot.
• Implement API gateways and integrations using Apigee.
• Apply OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect standards to authentication workflows.
• Collaborate with Cybersecurity and platform teams to align with enterprise identity standards.
• Support and guide application teams transitioning to the standardized authentication framework.
• Contribute to code reviews, best practices, and mentoring junior developers.

• Strong experience with Java Spring Boot.
• Hands‑on expertise with Apigee API gateway.
• Proven knowledge of OAuth 2.0 (OpenID Connect preferred).

• Familiarity with Ping Federate or similar identity platforms.
• Knowledge of token handling and cardholder data security.
• Experience with enterprise‑level authentication migrations.

• Full‑time, onshore role with opportunities to collaborate with offshore teams.
• Work on a high‑impact initiative critical to enterprise security and standardization.
