Software Engineer, Java Developer
Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a Contract with a client in Columbus, OH (Remote). You will develop and optimize enterprise applications using Java and Spring Framework while implementing CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployments.
Rate Range: $37/hour to $41/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Job Responsibilities
- Design and develop enterprise applications using Java and Spring Framework, ensuring scalability and performance.
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries for efficient data handling and integration.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using modern Dev Ops tools such as Git Hub Actions and Harness Next Gen.
- Utilize mocking frameworks like Mockito or JMock for unit testing and automated test coverage.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with business requirements.
- Work with Guidewire products within Policy Center (PC) for insurance domain projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (master’s preferred).
- 6–8 years of hands‑on experience in Java development and related technologies.
- Deep expertise in core and advanced Java concepts with strong proficiency in Spring Framework and related modules.
- Proven experience in CI/CD pipelines and Dev Ops tooling (e.g., Git Hub Actions, Harness Next Gen) along with SQL optimization skills.

Pay Details: $37.00 to $41.00 per hour
