Akkodis is seeking a Java Full Stack Developer for a Contract job with a client in Columbus, OH. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining end-to-end Java web applications and supporting containerization workflows using Docker or Podman within a Kubernetes environment.
Rate Range: $49/hour to $60/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Java Full Stack Developer job responsibilities include:
- Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end Java-based web applications based on business requirements.
- Implement front-end features using JavaScript frameworks to ensure responsive and user-friendly interfaces.
- Build and manage containerized applications using Docker or Podman, and deploy them in Kubernetes environments.
- Collaborate in Agile teams, participating in sprint planning, code reviews, and daily stand-ups to ensure timely delivery.
- Troubleshoot and debug application issues across the full stack, ensuring high performance and reliability.
- Contribute to Dev Ops practices, including CI/CD pipeline integration and automation for seamless deployment and testing.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 8-10 years of professional experience in full stack development using Java and JavaScript.
- Strong understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker/Podman and Kubernetes.
- Proven experience working in Agile and Dev Ops environments with solid troubleshooting and debugging skills.
Pay Details: $49.00 to $60.00 per hour
