Software Engineer, Java Developer
Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a Contract with a client in Columbus, OH(Remote). You will develop and optimize enterprise applications using Java, Spring Framework, and advanced SQL while ensuring robust CI/CD practices.
Rate Range: $35/hour to $37/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
- Design and develop enterprise applications using Java and Spring Framework, ensuring scalability and performance.
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries for efficient data handling and integration.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using modern Dev Ops tools such as Git Hub Actions and Harness Next Gen.
- Utilize mocking frameworks like Mockito or JMock for unit testing and automated test coverage.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with business requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (master’s preferred).
- 8–10 years of experience in Java development with strong expertise in Spring Framework and SQL.
- Proven experience in CI/CD pipeline implementation using tools like Git Hub Actions and Harness Next Gen.
- Familiarity with mocking frameworks (Mockito, JMock) and Guidewire Policy Center is preferred.

Pay Details: $35.00 to $37.00 per hour
