We have an urgent role of Sr Java Developer in Columbus, OH(Onsite-4 days).
Overview:We’re building an onshore development team to standardize authentication across more than 15 enterprise applications. This role focuses on creating secure, scalable API solutions using Spring Boot ,
Apigee , and OAuth/OpenID Connect that integrate with our enterprise identity platform (Ping Federate). You’ll work closely with Cybersecurity, API platform, and application teams to ensure a unified login approach across the organization.
- Design, develop, and deploy secure APIs and services using Java Spring Boot
. - Implement API gateways and integrations using Apigee
. - Apply OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect standards to authentication workflows.
- Collaborate with Cybersecurity and platform teams to align with enterprise identity standards.
- Support and guide application teams transitioning to the standardized authentication framework.
- Contribute to code reviews, best practices, and mentoring junior developers.
Skills:
- Strong experience with Java Spring Boot
. - Hands-on expertise with Apigee API gateway.
- Proven knowledge of OAuth 2.0 (OpenID Connect preferred).
Skills:
- Familiarity with Ping Federate or similar identity platforms.
- Knowledge of token handling and cardholder data security.
- Experience with enterprise-level authentication migrations.
- Full-time, onshore role with opportunities to collaborate with offshore teams.
- Work on a high-impact initiative critical to enterprise security and standardization.
