The Senior Software Engineer role is responsible for developing, maintaining, and improving Piada’s company sites, internal analytics dashboard, and point-of-sale systems with the goal of enhancing our technical infrastructure to better serve our guests and teams, as well as mentoring and teaching other Software Engineers on the team.

This role is also responsible for maintaining menu management systems, managing third-party applications, assisting stores with point-of-sale issues, and partnering with internal teams to use technology to solve business problems. You will also be a point of contact for guests seeking help with online orders, gift cards, Piada Rewards, and other inquiries or concerns they may have.

You are comfortable moving between code, data, vendors, store technology, and guest-facing systems while keeping business impact and service quality at the center of your work.

• Responsible for the development and maintenance of online, mobile, and internal software platforms
• Architects advanced solutions to business problems using foundational knowledge of software development and business priorities
• Mentors and teaches other Software Engineers on best practices, languages, libraries, and tools
• Creates and maintains documentation
• Collaborates with other departments to develop solutions to business problems, including creating integrations between existing platforms
• Manages user accounts in cloud-based software
• Maintains, updates, and creates menu items as menu changes
• Supports stores with point-of-sale issues
• Answers guest questions regarding online ordering, gift cards, Piada Rewards, and other questions/concerns that are sent to the Technology-managed email addresses
• In conjunction with the other members of the Technology team, provide support to stores during their open business hours
