One of our client in the government domain is seeking a .Net Developer with 6+ years of experience in Microsoft application development to support enterprise applications across multiple projects. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in C#, ASP.NET, .NET Framework, Azure, SQL Server, and enterprise application development. This role requires the ability to work independently with minimal supervision while contributing to application design, development, testing, documentation, and support activities.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, maintain, and support enterprise web and desktop applications.
- Participate in requirements analysis, technical planning, solution design, development, testing, implementation, and production support.
- Develop ASP.NET web applications, APIs, and Win Forms applications using Microsoft technologies.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, process flows, functional diagrams, and testing documentation.
- Perform unit testing, system testing, and support quality assurance activities.
- Develop reports and application enhancements as directed by the Application Manager.
- Follow software development best practices and recommend reusable development solutions.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior team members when needed.
- Work across multiple projects and business areas based on organizational priorities.
- Cloud & Development: Microsoft Azure, C#, .NET Framework 1.1 to Current, .NET Core, ASP.NET
- Database: Microsoft SQL Server (SQL 2000 through SQL 2018+), Stored Procedures, Functions, Tables, Views
- Version Control: Git
- Documentation & Design: MS Visio or similar diagramming tools
- Testing: Unit Testing, System Testing, Test Documentation
- Strong experience with Microsoft development technologies including C#, ASP.NET, .NET Framework, and .NET Core.
- Experience developing and supporting enterprise-level web applications.
- Proficiency with Azure cloud technologies and development environments.
- Strong SQL Server development experience, including database design and performance optimization.
- Experience with APIs, JSON, and client-side web technologies.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC), testing methodologies, and technical documentation.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments effectively.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience with Enterprise Data Modeling.
- Familiarity with manual QA testing processes.
- Experience creating business and functional process diagrams.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and contribute innovative ideas for process improvements.
