- Automation & Orchestration: Design and implement automated data engineering workflows to ensure platform availability, low latency, and operational stability.
- Data Governance & Integrity: Implement pragmatic data models, rigorous schema validations, and automated quality checks to eradicate data discrepancies.
- Best-Practice Engineering: Apply modern software and data design principles, challenging legacy assumptions to deliver scalable, high-performance infrastructure.
- Core Technical Stack: Strong, hands‑on production expertise in SQL, Python, and Apache Spark
. - Cloud & Lakehouse Ecosystem: Demonstrable exposure to Databricks and Microsoft Azure data ecosystems is highly valued.
- Academic Foundation: A minimum 2:1 degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or a quantitative STEM subject (ideally from a Russell Group university).
- Execution & Ownership: Ability to take complex pipeline tasks from raw concept to reliable production deployment with minimal supervision.
- Communication: Confidence articulating technical data nuances clearly to both engineering colleagues and non-technical business partners.

- Immediate Impact & Autonomy: Exercise ownership over technical products from day one within a collaborative, flat‑structure engineering group.
- Direct Market Exposure: Gain deep domain knowledge by learning how global financial markets, economies, and varied asset classes operate from top industry experts.
- Founding Culture: Join at an early growth phase where your engineering standards directly shape the technical DNA of a rapidly expanding regional hub.
