Be the game‑changer for our athletes! As a Sports Performance Coach, you’ll deliver individualized, high‑quality training that enhances athletic performance, builds confidence, and fosters community. You’ll guide players through structured programs that improve strength, speed, and agility while supporting their development both on and off the field.
Your Game Plan On the Field:Coaching & Player Development (50%)
- Lead high-performance training sessions for Columbus Force Soccer Club athletes.
- Design and implement player workouts tailored to individual and team needs.
- Demonstrate proper technique and modify exercises for all ability levels.
- Provide coaching, motivation, and feedback to help players reach their goals.
- Assist the Sports Performance Director with seasonal programs, including Winter Sports Performance.
- Track attendance, progress, and accountability for all athletes.
- Maintain a positive, high‑energy training environment.
- Foster a supportive, team-first environment that reflects TOCA’s core values.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness in all training areas.
- Encourage healthy lifestyles, wellness education, and athlete engagement.
- Training certification (NSCA, NASM, ISSA, CFL1, USAW, or WSBB) required.
- Degree in Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology, or related field preferred.
- CPR/AED certification required.
- Experience coaching youth or high-performance athletes preferred.
- Enthusiastic, professional, and passionate about player development.
- Energy and willingness to work afternoons, evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays.
