Year Round Swim Instructor

British Swim School of Newton is located at 135 Wells Ave, Newton, MA 02459. Pay is $20–$24 per hour based on experience. This is a part‑time, year‑round after‑school instructor position.

Schedule:

Tuesday–Friday, 3:30 PM – 7:30 PM. No weekends required. Optional Sunday shifts (12 PM – 4 PM) starting in the New Year.

British Swim School of Newton is seeking year‑round Swim Instructors for our after‑school program at the YMCA Wells Ave location. This is a long‑term, meaningful position where you will help children build water safety, confidence, and lifelong swim skills.

• Teach small‑group swim lessons to ages 3 months–17 years
• Use our gentle, play‑based survival swim curriculum
• Encourage students, track progress, and maintain safety

• Experience with children
• Swim team or aquatics experience
• CPR/First Aid or Lifeguard background
