Location: Defense Supply Center Columbus (DSCC) Fitness Center, Columbus, OH
Job Type: Part-time / On-Call (Per Game Basis)
Job Summary: The Score Keeper provides accurate scoring, timekeeping, and documentation for DSCC league and tournament basketball games. Working courtside, the Score Keeper maintains official score sheets, tracks player participation, records game results, and supports the officials in ensuring smooth game operations. This role is essential for accurate league standings and requires focus, attention to detail, and clear communication.

• Record all game scores, fouls, player participation, and other official statistics during each scheduled game.
• Maintain league score sheets/cards and ensure accuracy of all game documentation.
• Support officials with timing, score updates, and administrative tasks as needed.
• Submit game statistics and results to the DSCC Fitness Center after each event.
• Attend the pre-season league meeting to understand schedules, rules, and documentation expectations.
• Arrive on time for each scheduled match and remain until all records are complete.
• Assist with posting player names and score sheets provided by DSCC.
• Ensure timely communication with DSCC staff regarding cancellations, schedule updates, and documentation needs.

• Previous experience as a score keeper, statistician, or administrative support in a recreational or competitive sports environment preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate written records during fast-paced games.
• Basic understanding of basketball scoring and game structure.
• Ability to communicate clearly with officials, players, and DSCC staff.
• Must possess a valid Real –compliant identification for installation access.
• Reliable transportation and availability on Monday evenings (1700–1900).
