Position Summary:

A Forklift Operator is an individual who moves stock around the Fabrication Shop using a forklift or other types of loading devices. Their main duties include operating forklifts, winches, and other devices, loading and unloading equipment, pipe and storing or relocating materials within the warehouse.

• Load, unload, pack, and unpack materials and pipe of all types and sizes.
• Label and sort incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Relocate items within the warehouse.
• Operate a forklift, winch, or other machinery used for transporting or shipping materials.
• Track inventory of incoming and outgoing items.
• Carefully handle and dispose of hazardous waste materials whenever necessary.
• Operate Raymond Reach, Dock Stocker, and Cherry Picker.
• Use RF Scanner to pick orders.
• Replenish inventory.
• Perform general cleaning duties.
• Be versatile to work in other departments.
• Provide consistent and detailed order picking / loading / staging.
• Process orders based on order timelines and instructions.
• Identify and source materials from appropriate locations, utilize appropriate equipment to process orders.
• Maintain equipment and keep the work area clean and safe for customers and other employees.
• All other duties as assigned.

• Warehouse experience (preferred).
• Must have 1+ years of experience operating all forklifts.

• Education:
  
  High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
• Physical Requirements:
  
  Must be capable of lifting up to 70 lbs., capable of climbing ladders and boarding equipment, etc.
• Special Requirements:
  Valid Driver’s License, rigging certification (preferred).
