• We are seeking a courteous and friendly Transport Driver who can deliver consistent, excellent customer service. Drivers must assist clients getting in and out of the vehicle and assist clients with a "through the door" service. Applicants must have a flexible work schedule, to accommodate the business need. Company vehicles are provided.

• Drivers are responsible for pre-inspection checks on all vehicles they are driving. They must make sure all items or any other devices are stored away properly. Drivers must drive clients to and from destinations in a safe manner. Provide culturally sensitive services to our senior-speaking population.

• Education and Training
• High school graduate or GED equivalent is preferred but not required
• Valid state driver's license OR commercial driver's license
• Valid CPR/First Aid card is preferred but not required
• Drivers should be familiar with Columbus and the surrounding areas.

• Experience driving corporate clients and paratransit vehicles are a plus.
• Must have a driver's license for at least five (5) years with no more than one (1) moving violation or one (1) at fault accident in the last three (3) years.
• Applicants must be familiar with using cellular phones and navigating around areas using a GPS.
• Experience working with the elderly population
• In this role, you will be responsible for directly communicating with our senior client base to understand their needs and provide support
• Physical certifications:
  Pass DOT "fitness for duty" exam; HEP B Series and contractual vaccinations
• Acceptable background screens, which includes, but is not limited to criminal check and drug & alcohol screening
• Valid Authorization to work in the U.S.

• Must provide a current driving record printout when applying (Valid 30 days from date of application)
• Must pass pre-employment screening - background and drug screen

Driver must be able to pass the physical test including:

• Lift up to 50 LBS, push up to 150 LBS
• Bend from the waist
• Pivot from waist
• Be able to move from a standing position to kneeling position back to standing

The pay range for this role is:

17 - 20 USD per hour (OH01 - Bold Age Columbus)
