Job SummaryThe Warehouse Associate assists with inbound and outbound activities as requested by the Warehouse Supervisor, meeting quality, safety, productivity, and operational standards. This role receives products in the inbound section and ships products in the outbound section.
Responsibilities- Follow established processes to fulfill orders, including accurate picking, quality control checks, packing, and preparing orders for shipment.
- Cross‑train in multiple areas of the warehouse and participate in projects as needed.
- Perform housekeeping and inventory control tasks and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Be willing to train for and be certified to operate material‑handling equipment such as order pickers, forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and walk‑ie riders.
We are open to candidates with little to no warehouse experience. All training is provided starting your first day.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Comfort working with heights of 20–30 ft regularly.
- Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift, and stand for the entire shift.
- Ability to follow directions and change priorities.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with technology (e.g., computers or point‑of‑sale systems) is a plus.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience (preferred).
- Basic proficiency in English, including reading and writing for document processing.
- Apply acquired knowledge and skills to complete standard tasks.
- Learn and apply new information and methods to work in the assigned area.
- Maintain appropriate licenses, training, and certifications.
- Work on routine assignments that require problem resolution.
- Follow standard operating procedures and/or scientific methods.
- Adhere to all quality guidelines.
- Work under moderate supervision.
- Have output regularly reviewed by a work lead or supervisor.
- Refer complex or unusual problems to a supervisor.
$21.60 per hour (includes shift differential)
