Warehouse Associate, Material Handler, Distribution/ General Warehouse

Micro Center is looking for Warehouse Associates to join our fast-paced Distribution Center (located off of Phillipi Road & Broad Street). This is a full-time position. Experience preferred but not required. We are looking for individuals to have a work-hard play-hard environment at Micro Center. Join our fun & loyal team today! You will be trained in a positive and interactive environment.
Hours are Monday thru Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm or 8:30am - 5:00pm. Pay rate is $18.00 per hour with opportunity for over-time.
What You'll Do
- Accurately unpack and process inbound merchandise.
- Sort and pack product by computer generated tickets. This includes stacking and sorting onto pallets.
- Load/unload local and over the road shipments.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours per day, lift up to 50 lbs and bend/twist 90% of the day while stacking or pulling product on a skid or from shelves.
- Must be able to meet deadlines and work as part of a team
- Equipment used: pallet jacks, computer systems, RF Scanner, and general office equipment.
