Salary Range: $16.00 To $19.00 Hourly

Clerical Shipping/Receiving Clerk

The Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for ensuring that all loads get shipped and received on time.

• Schedule appointments via email for inbound and outbound loads.
• Keep an accurate list of all trailers on the yard.
• Dispatch yard jockey to ensure that work is always available in doors.
• Process all inbound, outbound, and sort transactions in Redlink.
• Work with carriers to ensure that all loads are picked up and delivered on time.
• Inspect inbound paperwork to ensure accuracy and security of loads.
• Clean or report any contamination or potential food safety issues for customers.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Learn, understand, and adhere to all PECO safety policies and procedures for the depot as well as for your role.

• Graduation from an accredited high school or General Education Development (GED)
• Good attention to detail and organizational skills are necessary
• Transportation and warehousing background are a must
• Good computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
• Employee will be interacting with many individuals and must possess good interpersonal skills
