Clinical Lab Microbiologist BS, MT(ASCP)Full Time Columbus, TX, US
Salary Range: $28.00 To $35.00 Hourly
A Clinical Microbiologist performs Aerobic, Anaerobic, and Fungal/yeast cultures. AST are performed on the Vitek 2 Compact along with molecular analysis performed on Gene Xpert and Bio Mereiuxs' Bio Fire;
Blood cultures on Bactec FX-40 . The Clinical Microbiologist is responsible for performing Quality Control, IQCP monitors, function checks, and maintenance . The Clinical Microbiologist may assist with additional responsibilities as deemed appropriate by supervising technologists / technicians to include performing quality control and maintenance. The Clinical Microbiologist is a Full-time position on a rotating schedule rotating weekends and holidays.
Experience is preferred, but new grads and techs are welcome.
