Administrator

Colwyn – Contract – £13.05 per hour

Our client is looking for an experienced Administrator.

There is an expectation that the candidate lives locally or within a commutable distance as the position is in Conwy County.

The successful candidate will work as part of the Single Point of Access Team and help to deliver important services for the people of Conwy every day.

The assignment is for 37

HPW, Monday – Friday. The position is based at the council offices at Coed Pella Road, Colwyn Bay, Conwy. This is not a hybrid working position due to the nature of the work within the team.

The assignment is expected to last approximately 12 weeks.

An opportunity that has become available for an experienced Admin Assistant / Business Support Officer to join our busy Single Point of Access Team.

Responsibilities
  • provide a professional administrative and business support service to Social Care teams;
  • handle and process sensitive and confidential information in relation to safeguarding and service user data;
  • provide data entry; verifying accuracy, inputting numerical and text data into the council’s customer database quickly & accurately;
  • ensure policies and procedures are followed in compliance with Data Protection and internal processes in line with statutory timescales, to meet set objectives to provide a high quality, efficient and effective service, whilst ensuring the organisational core values, departmental policies and objectives are adhered to.
Skills and qualifications required
  • Good standard of education and clear literacy skills;
  • Technology & software skills; good typing speed, a strong knowledge of Microsoft office, high level of accuracy when manually inputting and formatting data;
  • Knowledge of WCCIS or similar client database;
  • Team work & interpersonal skills;
  • The ability to converse in Welsh is desirable, but not essential for the role and we encourage both Welsh speaking and non-Welsh speaking candidates to apply.
