About UsGrwp Llandrillo Menai was established in 2012 as a result of mergers between Coleg Llandrillo, Coleg Menai and Coleg Meirion-Dwyfor. It employs 2,000 staff and delivers courses to around 21,000 students, including over 1,500 higher education students, across Anglesey, Conwy, Denbighshire and Gwynedd. The Construction Department offers courses in a range of disciplines. The role of a Lecturer in Brickwork is to organise and deliver classroom theory sessions in bricklaying to level 3 and associated additional topics, occasionally teach practical in a workshop, and carry out assessment of learners' work. The Lecturer liaises with the Awarding Organisation (City & Guilds) to maintain learner work quality through internal quality assurance activities.
Leadership within the team ensures assessors and instructors align workshop and theory topics. Additionally, the Lecturer will conduct regular tutorial sessions, facilitate skills competitions, and support learners in a comprehensive learning environment.

Permanent
Hours of Work37 hours per week. 835 hours annual teaching time; 24‑26 hours teaching per week; up to 5 hours per week working off site in agreement with manager.

Annual Leave Entitlement- 46 days leave per annum.
