As a Mechanical Trade Supervisor at our HMNB Clyde Faslane site, you’ll lead skilled teams in delivering complex mechanical work packages that support the operational readiness of the Royal Navy. Your leadership will ensure that projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, in a highly regulated environment.

• Lead and supervise multi‑skilled teams to safely deliver mechanical engineering work packages.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate tasks to ensure delivery against safety, cost, quality, and time targets.
• Produce and review technical documentation such as work scopes and method statements.
• Manage subcontractors and collaborate with internal stakeholders to support project delivery.
• Promote a strong safety, quality, and continuous improvement culture across all activities.

This role is full time, 36 hours per week Monday‑Thursday 07:15 – 16:45 and is based on site at HMNB Clyde Faslane.

• Demonstrable experience in mechanical engineering within an industrial or engineering environment.
• Proven experience in a supervisory or team‑leadership role.
• Experience planning and coordinating engineering work packages.
• Strong understanding of safety, quality, and operational performance standards.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders in a complex environment.

• HNC or HND in a mechanical engineering discipline or equivalent.

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
