Senior HCA

This position is for an Agency (Senior HCA) who books shifts on an Ad-Hoc or block-booking basis. We have shifts Nationwide as well.

• Typical Senior Healthcare Care Assistant duties are wide-ranging, revolving around administering medication and helping service users with immediate needs such as dressing, maintaining hygiene and washing.
• Assisting and managing HCAs.
• Getting to know the service users personally, providing companionship and emotional support, contributing positively to their well‑being.
• Liaising with Managers and other Team Leaders.
• Helping clients participate in leisure activities, such as day trips.
• The duties vary substantially from client to client, so that no two shifts are the same.
• Providing the highest level of nursing and care to service users, developing strong relationships with users, relatives and senior staff.
• Ensuring good standards of medical care, accurate record keeping, updating care plans, appropriate use of medical equipment, a cheery attitude, and continuous training for compliance.
• Registering on the company app for compliance, timesheets and shift management.

• At least 3 months of paid experience within a UK care setting.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Live enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one.
• Medication training essential.
• Willingness to continue updating training for compliance.
