Embrace is a specialist, round-the-clock transport service dedicated to the safe transfer of critically ill infants and children in Yorkshire and the Humber. Our team provides essential care for those requiring transfer to another hospital within the region or further afield.

You will help deliver expert clinical care to critically ill infants and children. In addition to providing high-quality nursing care, you will be a role model for clinical excellence and contribute to the ongoing development and management of the service.

About You
  • Registered Nurse (Part 1, 8, or 15 of the NMC register) or hold ODP registration.
  • Clinical experience in a neonatal/paediatric critical care environment, including a relevant critical care course.
  • Experience in teaching, clinical supervision, and managerial responsibilities.

Main duties of the job
  • Plan and implement nursing care to ensure the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Assist the team in managing the Neonatal and Paediatric Critical Care Transport Service.
  • Ensure the needs of the neonate, child, parents, and significant others are met during transfer.
  • Undertake projects related to research, audit, and professional development in specialist areas.
  • Provide clinical supervision to other team members, promoting a supportive and educational environment.
