THE EMPLOYER IS: PMB ACCOUNTANTS LIMITED The successful candidate will carry out a range of administrative tasks such as bookkeeping, maintaining digital financial records and responding to support requests by phone and email.
Responsibilities- Digitise paper-based and legacy bookkeeping records, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and proper organisation.
- Maintain and manage digital financial records in line with record-keeping and data security standards.
- Provide support for cloud accounting platforms (including setup, configuration, and day-to-day use).
- Assist users with navigating accounting software and understanding core bookkeeping functions.
- Troubleshoot software issues, data inconsistencies, and system errors, escalating complex issues when required.
- Respond to support requests via email, phone, or ticketing systems in a timely and professional manner.
- Support basic user training and onboarding for accounting software.
- Follow internal procedures and compliance requirements relating to data protection and financial records.
- Identify opportunities to improve digitisation workflows and software support processes.
- Good IT skills with emphasis on data entry and attention to detail.
- Verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with cloud accounting software namely Xero.
- Understanding of fundamental bookkeeping and accounting principles.
- Strong organisational skills to manage multiple task simultaneously.
