Role Description

This is a full-time on-site Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position located in Commack, NY. Responsibilities include providing direct patient care under the guidance of physicians and registered nurses, administering medications, updating patient medical records, and monitoring patient conditions. The LPN will assist in routine clinical procedures, ensure effective communication with the care team, and maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.

• Valid LPN license in the state of New York
• Proficiency in clinical tasks such as administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and recognizing adverse health conditions
• Strong organizational and communication skills to document patient information accurately and collaborate effectively with the healthcare team
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Compassionate patient care skills and a commitment to maintaining ethical standards in healthcare
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Previous experience in a hospital or outpatient clinic setting is preferred
