As Team Lead Operations (Shift Supervisor), you will lead 10-15 operators in your area of responsibility, which includes performance management and solving problems with operating zone issues. You will lead with focus on worker health & safety, as well as the environmentally responsible and reliable operations of the Commerce City refinery.



Minimum Requirements :

• 10 years of experience in process / refinery operations
• Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities
• Strong communication skills which allow you to collaborate effectively with dynamic and diverse groups
• The ability to coach and mentor personnel in operating processes and emergency preparedness
• A High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
• A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
• Must be legally authorized to work in the USA for the duration of your employment

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and provide development for a team of operators in one area of the refinery and ensure proper execution of work
• Foster collaboration and create an inclusive and respectful work environment
• Advance our operational discipline behaviours and opportunities for improvement
• Execute daily and monthly production plans by communicating direction as well as maintenance priorities to our operators
• Perform operator qualification assessments in conjunction with the training coordinator as well as monitor training and qualification statuses of operators
• Lead incident command, emergency response, and effective incident investigations

Location and other Key Details:

• You will work out of our Commerce City refinery, located at 5801 Brighton Blvd.
• Relocation support will be provided for candidates living outside of driving distance to the refinery
• The shift schedule is a rotating 12-hour shift, including holidays, weekends (MDOPY), and overtime as needed
• You will be required to use ladders and work on elevated work sites such as scaffolds and towers with the ability to perform in a variety of different environments both indoor and outdoor as well as within confined spaces

Salary and Compensation Details:

• $130,000 - $140,000 annual salary and an annual incentive (bonus) program
