Role Overview

Math teachers at VPA design and deliver engaging, standards‑aligned instruction while fostering a supportive, growth‑focused classroom culture.

  • Teach courses ranging from Algebra through Calculus, aligned with Colorado Academic Standards.
  • Deliver clear, engaging instruction using proven methods such as Direct Instruction and Teach Like A Champion.
  • Build a classroom culture that is calm, structured, and focused on growth.
  • Use assessment data to guide instruction and provide targeted support.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and specialists to ensure every student thrives.
  • Maintain strong communication with families about academic progress and goals.
  • Contribute to a positive school culture grounded in respect, clarity, and high expectations.
