Youth​/Teen Aide - Youth Camp

Overview

We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Youth/Teen Aides to support our Youth Camp! This position will assist in providing recreational and enrichment activities for youth and supervise youth aged 6 - 11 years for summer camp. This position will assist the Youth/Teen Director and/or Leader in the setup, clean up and implementation of activities which will enhance social skills and character development among participants as appropriate to program.

Manage multiple tasks for a variety of age groups in the game room, gym, pool, and other areas of the recreation center, as well as off-site centers or field trips, and create a fun environment for all participants.

• Assist in providing recreational and enrichment activities for youth aged 6 - 11 years during summer camp.
• Support the Youth/Teen Director and/or Leader in setup, cleanup, and implementation of activities.
• Enhance social skills and character development among participants as appropriate to the program.
• Manage multiple tasks for various age groups in game rooms, gyms, pools, and other recreation areas; assist with off-site centers or field trips.
• Create a safe and fun environment for all participants.

Hiring salary is dependent upon experience. The hiring range for this position is $16.71 - $19.16 per hour.

• Minimum age: 16 years for youth programs and 21 years for teen programs.
• Current CPR/First Aid certificates or ability to obtain them within 10 days of hire date.
• Current Standard Precautions certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire date.
• Any combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge and skills.
• Background check and fingerprints may be required.
