Job Overview
The City of Commerce City is seeking a seasoned professional who thrives on complex inspections and investigations to support and enhance our Code Enforcement Team. In this pivotal role, you will lead challenging cases, mentor inspectors, refine processes, and act as a trusted leader when needed.
Responsibilities- Coordinate daily operations for code enforcement activities.
- Handle difficult and complex inspections and investigations.
- Provide training to Code Enforcement Inspectors and help develop team processes.
- Act as a lead or supervisor in the absence of the Code Enforcement Supervisor.
Hiring Range: $64,848.06 - $72,053.40 (dependent upon experience).

- Minimum of two years of college education with two years of code enforcement experience, or high school/GED diploma with four years of code enforcement experience (or equivalent training/experience).
- Valid driver's license with a safe driving record; maintain the license while employed.
- Valid Code Enforcement Certification (preferred from CACEO) and the ability to obtain advanced certification within two years of hire.
