Job Description
Pay Range: $20.50hr - $23.50hr
The Production Associate I supports manufacturing operations by achieving production goals while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and teamwork. The role requires strict adherence to health, safety, environmental, and quality procedures and active participation in continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities- Stop work and immediately report any major injury hazards.
- Report any work-related injury, illness, incident, or hazard.
- Comply with all health, safety, and environmental standards, policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Use appropriate personal protective equipment.
- Promote interdependence by looking out for one another.
- Correct hazards within individual control and capability.
- Recognize environmental impacts of work and minimize negative effects.
- Participate in health, safety, and environmental training.
- Follow all standard work, process documentation, and quality procedures including statistical process control, poka-yoke, and visual standards.
- Raise issues to minimize cost and quality exposure.
- Perform quality inspections.
- Identify and control non-conforming material.
- Achieve production goals.
- Work at the required cycle time or defined engineering standard.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area, including housekeeping, machine cleaning, and operator care tasks.
- Remain flexible and perform other duties as required to meet production goals.
- Work with peers, skilled trades, and support staff to identify and address equipment repair needs.
- Communicate effectively with assigned teams and support teams.
- Complete training and personal development aligned with business requirements.
- Participate actively in initiatives to improve quality, safety, processes, material flow, and employee development.
- Accountability for meeting commitments.
- Effective communication across multiple audiences.
- Courage to address and escalate issues.
- Strong results-driven mindset.
- Knowledge of health and safety fundamentals.
- Manufacturing process knowledge and continuous improvement orientation.
