Quality Assurance Supervisor - Gold Canyon Meat Company
This position is responsible for developing, maintaining and supervising all aspects of Quality Assurance to ensure proper, safe and exceptional operation of the department.
Essential Duties- Developing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Developing initial and subsequent modifications of product assurance program to delineate areas of responsibility, personnel requirements, and operational procedures within program
- Evaluating the contents of reports from product assurance program department heads and conferring with top management personnel preparatory to formulating fiscal budget for product assurance program
- Conducting management meetings and training with product assurance program department heads to establish, delineate, and review program organizational policies, to coordinate functions and operations between departments, and to establish responsibilities and procedures for attaining objectives
- Maintaining plant quality systems in compliance with regulatory and customer requirements
- Supervising a team of technicians
- Performing other duties as assigned to meet business needs %,
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 5+ years related experience
- 1+ year supervisor experience
- Demonstrates problem solving capabilities
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suit (Outlook, Work, Excel)
- Must be flexible and willing to work the demands of the department which are subject to evenings, weekends, and holidays
