A large private professional services firm in LA is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for month-end close and owning the general ledger. To be successful in this role, the Senior Accountant must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, be able to drive efficiency, and great communication skills. • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
• 8+ years of accounting experience
• Must have large company experience
• Advanced Excel

• Review the work of the accounting team
• Support month-end close and financial reporting
• GL reconciliations, and analyze the balance sheet and P&L
• Act as liaison to the outside CPA firm for the financial statement audit
• Provide variance explanations on budgets to actuals
