Manager, Partner Relations – Roadrunner

As Manager of Partner Relations, you will establish and manage the relationships with agents and interlines, driving performance improvements through data‑driven decisions.

• Locate companies equipped to accept and deliver our freight.
• Travel 25% of the time.
• Monitor agent and interline performance and drive improvement.
• Act as a liaison between Roadrunner and external partners.
• Resolve specific delivery problems as needed.
• Provide direction to staff through motivation, performance reviews, and feedback.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• 4–10 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret moderately complex documents and financial data.
• Ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or complaints.
• Ability to write and give persuasive speeches on complex topics to senior management, employees, and external audiences.
• Excellent internal and external communication skills.
• Proficient personal computer skills (email, record‑keeping, databases, spreadsheets, word processing, graphics, PowerPoint).
• Preferred knowledge of McLeod, AS/400, industry software, workers’ compensation software and Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, Teams, Power BI).
• Experience supervising, managing, or directing people, including selection, training, development, appraisal, and work assignment.
• High responsibility for safeguarding and controlling restricted information.
• Ability to apply logical or scientific thinking to a range of problems.
• Ability to handle abstract and concrete variables.
• Ability to prioritize, organize, and delegate assignments.
• Capacity to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

• Physical Demands
  • Regular sitting; occasional standing, walking, and lifting objects up to 20 lb.
• Work Environment
  • Moderate noise level in a well‑lighted, heated/air‑conditioned office.
  • Occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts, toxic or caustic chemicals.
  • Occasional overnight travel by land or air.

• Estimated total compensation: $115,000 – $125,000 per year.
