Salesforce Cloud; SFCC) –Technical Leader

Own end-to-end development delivery for a Salesforce B2C Commerce platform, leading an SFCC engineering pod across sprint commitments, urgent enhancements, production issues, releases, and operational handover. This is a hands‑on technical leadership role, not a pure people‑management position.

Partner with the Customer Engineering Manager, Product Owner, QA Lead, integrations teams, and SRE to deliver reliable commerce capabilities while guiding legacy SFCC maintenance and future storefront modernization.

• Pod delivery and sprint accountability
  :
  Own engineering delivery for the SFCC pod, including sprint planning, estimates, capacity, technical task breakdown, roadmap commitments, and plan-versus-actual reporting. Surface and resolve dependencies, risks, and delivery variances.
• Technical design and architecture
  :
  Lead solution design, technical requirement analysis, and code reviews across SFRA cartridges, controllers, ISML, legacy pipelines, the partner extension framework, Business Manager, jobs, services, and integrations. Stay hands‑on with complex work and unblock developers.
• Complex incidents and production response
  :
  Act as primary development escalation for staging and production incidents. Mobilize the right engineers, analyze logs and cross-system flows, lead root‑cause investigations, and coordinate safe hotfixes and preventive actions.
• Release and operational ownership
  :
  Coordinate development‑side releases, rotating release responsibilities, deployment readiness, post‑release verification, and recovery planning. Ensure clear documentation, runbooks, and knowledge transfer to support and SRE teams.
• Quality, engineering metrics and automation
  :
  Partner with the QA Lead on in‑sprint test automation, quality gates, regression readiness, and defect leakage. Track sprint and production defects, release stability, delivery predictability, and improvement actions.
• Modernization and cross‑platform collaboration
  :
  Guide technical evaluation of React‑based storefront work, Storefront Next/PWA Kit, headless commerce, and Contentful as roadmap needs arise. Coordinate with loyalty, OMS, payment, tax, inventory, and other connected‑system owners.
• Team capability and technical continuity
  :
  Mentor developers, distribute technical ownership, conduct design/code reviews, strengthen cross‑skilling, and reduce critical‑person dependencies. Balance work allocation, support response, and team availability.
• AI‑assisted engineering
  :
  Promote responsible use of Git Hub Copilot or approved alternatives for coding, testing, debugging, and documentation. Validate AI‑generated output and use credible indicators to assess productivity and quality improvements.

• Experience and leadership
  : 10+ years of overall software engineering experience, including 6+ years working with SFCC and at least 2 years leading an engineering team or delivery pod.
• SFCC architecture and delivery
  :
  Deep hands‑on Salesforce B2C Commerce experience, including SFRA, cartridges, controllers, models, ISML, hooks, jobs, service framework, Business Manager, and production upgrades or migrations.
• Legacy platform expertise
  :
  Ability to assess, troubleshoot, and maintain pipeline‑based applications and existing custom/partner extension frameworks built on SFRA, including shared widget and customization layers.
• Integration ownership
  :
  Strong experience with REST/JSON, SFCC jobs/feeds, OCAPI/SCAPI, integrations, and cross‑system troubleshooting for pricing, inventory, promotions, checkout, loyalty, and order flows.
