Warehouse Assistant & Delivery – American KGP Inc.

The Warehouse Assistant will assist in the upkeep and organization of the 33,000 sq. ft. warehouse including the docks and refrigerator/freezer units. They help develop and maintain the smooth running of storage processes, work closely with the Warehouse Manager and other assistants, communicate with customers, vendors, and delivery drivers, and maintain strong organizational skills and hand‑eye coordination.

• Processing orders
• Receiving incoming freight from vendors
• Ensuring products are stored safely
• Identifying when stock is low and reorders are required
• Working with delivery personnel to load vehicles properly
• Occasionally making special deliveries to satisfy higher volume days
• Maintaining basic health and safety standards while handling food products
• Keeping accurate records of incoming/outgoing freight
• Notifying the Warehouse Manager immediately of any facility or maintenance issues

• Proficiency (written & spoken) in English
• Punctuality and accountability
• Comfortable lifting and moving up to a max of 300 40lb boxes a day about 10 feet in distance (some boxes up to 60 lbs.)
• CA Driver’s License with a clean 4‑year driving history (no tickets or accidents)

• No experience required
• High school diploma
• Enjoys working with clients and fulfilling their needs
• Good communication skills
• Detail‑oriented, flexible, well‑organized multi‑tasker and team player
• Capable of basic math calculations and can operate a standard calculator
• Demonstrate high integrity with responsible and honest behavior every day
• Bonus: speak Korean to communicate with customers

• Prior forklift or pallet jack experience
• Prior food distribution experience
• B2B delivery experience driving a commercial van
