Job Summary:
The Pre‑K Paraprofessional assists the Lead Teacher in providing a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment for four‑year‑old students in Georgia’s Pre‑K Program.
- Support instruction and classroom management under the direction of the Lead Teacher.
- Supervise children during instructional time, meals, transitions, and outdoor play.
- Assist with classroom setup, cleaning, and maintaining materials.
- Help document student progress and support family engagement activities.
- Attend required training and professional development as outlined by Bright from the Start.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Must meet Georgia’s Pre‑K credential requirements for assistant teachers through Bright from the Start. Valid paraprofessional certificate.
Full‑time: 8 hours per day.
