Job Description:Piedmont Orthopedics in Athens is seeking a board-certified orthopedic surgeon to service our community in Monroe, GA. The Piedmont Athens satellite location in Monroe is on the Piedmont Walton Hospital campus. This is a great opportunity to join a nationally recognized healthcare system and an excellent orthopedic program that serves as the team doctors for the University of Georgia Bulldogs.
The ideal candidate is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who will serve as the anchor of the satellite, working with a PA while other subspecialty orthopedic surgeons rotate through. The candidate should have an interest in the surrounding community and possess leadership skills to develop the orthopedic program in partnership with current surgeons in Athens. The practice includes:
- General orthopedics
- Sports Medicine
- Joint/Adult Reconstruction
- Trauma orthopedic surgery
- Hand/Wrist surgery
- Foot/Ankle surgery
