Youth Pastor PT – Georgia Baptist Mission Board

The Youth Pastor will be responsible for fostering, developing, and administering a Bible-based ministry for our youth (6-12th grade) and their families that is consistent with the beliefs and mission of Beaverdam Baptist Church. The goal of the Youth Ministry is to empower our teens to become young adults who have been engaged with the Bible and principles therein.

• Establish/foster Biblical relationships with Youth.
• Coordinate and lead “Youth Service” on Wednesday Nights.
• Teach the “Youth Sunday School Class” on Sunday Mornings.
• Plan/coordinate at least 1 Youth Event/Outing per yearly quarter (every 3 months).
• Plan/coordinate “Summer Youth Camp” or any other Youth Retreat done throughout the year.
• Accompany Youth as leaders on trip(s) – or – Assist in acquiring an approved person(s) to do so.
• Attend and contribute to regular Staff Meetings.

• Directly reports to:
  Senior Pastor.
• Must affirm Baptist Faith and Message 2000 & adhere to Beaverdam Baptist Church’s by-laws, ordinances, and policies.
• Must be a born‑again believer.
• Must remain in good standing with BBC in faithful attendance.
• Must abide by the statutes of faithful ministry as laid out in Scripture.
