, improve processes, strengthen controls, and help the site scale while partnering closely with operations and executive leadership. You will help drive and scale the business and be an integral part of the company's success. Roles like this are great for individuals who enjoy strategic finance that want to make an impact and see the fruits of their labor and be rewarded for its success.
You’ll be the top finance leader onsite and a key member of both the leadership team and executive leadership team. Scope includes:
- Lead day-to-day accounting and finance for the site: month end close, reporting, analysis, controls, and team development.
- Be visible on the floor and in the work: learn how things run, ask great questions, and improve how finance supports decisions.
- Own budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis tied to plant performance.
- Financial and scenario modeling, profitability analysis, GTM strategies, cost mitigation, M&A
- Build actionable dashboards and analysis for throughput, labor/overhead, cost drivers, and operational initiatives.
- Support quoting, pricing, and risk assessments in partnership with operations/supply chain and commercial teams.
- Strengthen cost accounting and manufacturing finance rhythms (standard/actual analysis, inventory/cycle count support, margin/cost driver analysis).
- Partner with leaders on cost improvement, productivity, and capital requests.
- Oversee cash management and working capital focus areas; maintain strong relationships with banking and financial partners.
- Help evaluate and prioritize investments and ensure smart capital allocation.
- Ensure timely, accurate financial statements and compliance with GAAP and required standards in a regulated manufacturing environment.
- Improve internal controls, policies, and processes to reduce risk and increase efficiency.
- Help management understand the total cost structure and improve purchasing/procurement process discipline (in partnership with supply chain/operations).
- Help drive an effective ERP strategy and adoption plan (process, data, utilization).
- Provide oversight for core IT priorities affecting finance and plant operations, including security posture and practical tech enablement.
You’ll lead a small team (approx. 4-5) that includes experienced accounting leadership plus developing talent (mix of managers and individual contributors). The right leader is:
- Low-ego, high-accountability
, and genuinely collaborative - Coach/mentor-minded with a track record of developing early-career team members
- Direct, respectful, and compassionate (no “my department” silos)
- Comfort…
