Payroll Administrator

Description We are looking for a skilled Payroll Administrator to join our team in Commerce, Georgia. In this Contract to permanent role, you will take charge of processing payroll with accuracy and efficiency, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations. The ideal candidate will excel in payroll systems, possess strong organizational skills, and provide excellent support to employees regarding payroll-related matters.

Responsibilities:

- Process weekly payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.

- Maintain and regularly update payroll records, including changes to salaries, deductions, new hires, and terminations.

- Verify and reconcile timekeeping data, addressing any discrepancies promptly.

- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.

- Prepare and submit payroll tax filings and related reports accurately and on time.

- Respond to employee inquiries about pay, deductions, and tax with holdings, providing clear and helpful explanations.

- Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to address payroll-related issues, including benefits and garnishments.

- Generate detailed payroll reports for management and auditing purposes.

- Stay current on payroll laws and regulations to ensure ongoing compliance.

- Assist in optimizing payroll processes for efficiency and accuracy. Requirements - Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll administration.

- Proficiency in managing full-cycle payroll processes.

- Experience handling multi-state payroll systems.

- Familiarity with payroll for employee groups ranging from 101 to 500 individuals.

- Expertise in using ADP Workforce Now or similar payroll platforms.

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll regulations.

- Ability to communicate effectively and resolve employee payroll concerns.
