Senior Systems Dev Ops IT Engineer – First Century Bank

First Century Bank is looking for a full-time Sr. Systems Dev Ops IT Engineer to join a growing team from our Commerce, Georgia location. First Century Bank has distinguished itself by providing specialized financial services through technology channels for our clients. This role is fast‑paced and will have a direct impact on the Bank's ability to deliver our technology‑enabled fintech programs and products.

This is a hybrid role combining Dev Ops engineering (60%), application / database engineering (25%), and systems administration (15%) for FCB's Windows‑ and .NET‑centric Fin Tech environment. As a senior engineer, this individual will also provide technical leadership, project ownership, and mentoring to junior Dev Ops engineers while driving strategic automation and platform improvements.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 7-10 years of relevant Dev Ops/Systems/Database experience, ideally in a regulated or enterprise environment.
• Expert‑level experience with Power Shell scripting and automation, including advanced modules, APIs and DSC.
• Hands‑on experience with C#/.NET build and deployment workflows.
• Strong SQL Server administration and T‑SQL development experience.
• Proficiency with Git, Git Hub, Azure Repos, and modern branching/peer review workflows.
• Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with Azure Dev Ops or Git Hub Actions.
• Azure or AWS infrastructure experience (Azure strongly preferred).
• Experience with containers (Docker/Kubernetes), monitoring systems, and cloud networking/security fundamentals.

• Experience with API integrations, REST, and web service automation.

• Experience in Fin Tech, banking, or other highly regulated environments.
• Experience leading technical teams or mentoring engineers.
• Demonstrated experience modernizing legacy processes or driving Dev Ops transformation efforts.

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for C#/.NET, web, and database projects using Azure Dev Ops or Git Hub Actions.
• Implement and enforce Git‑based workflows: branching strategies, pull requests, peer review standards, and release processes.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, ARM/Bicep, and Power Shell DSC to provision and standardize Windows, IIS, and Azure resources.
• Automate operational workflows and integration processes using Power Shell, C# tooling, Azure Functions, and scheduled automation frameworks.
• Build and maintain deployment automation for .NET apps, IIS sites, Azure App Services, Windows Services, and SQL database changes.
• Integrate automated testing pipelines, including Pester for Power Shell and CI‑driven validation for .NET and SQL artifacts.
• Lead end‑to‑end monitoring, alerting, and observability initiatives using Datadog, New Relic, Prometheus/Grafana, or equivalent.
