Data Engineer-Retail

We are seeking Data Engineers to build scalable data pipelines, semantic retrieval systems, feature stores, and cloud-native data architectures for leading B2C Retail clients.

You will work extensively within Google Cloud Platform (GCP) — including Big Query
, Vertex AI
, Cloud Storage
, and Dataflow — to enable enterprise-grade analytics and AI applications.

This is a hybird role in Atlanta
.

• Build scalable, production-grade ETL/ELT pipelines using Python, SQL, and GCP-native services.
• Develop semantic retrieval
  , vector search
  , and feature engineering workflows supporting enterprise AI systems.
• Design and optimize Big Query data models, partitioning strategies, and performance tuning.
• Implement data quality
  , validation
  , and monitoring frameworks for high-reliability retail data environments.

• Work extensively with:
• Big Query (data modeling, analytics, feature stores)
• Cloud Storage
  , Cloud Functions
  , Dataflow
  , Pub/Sub
• Build CI/CD workflows using Git Hub Actions for data pipelines and cloud deployments.

• Support RAG systems, vector databases, and LLM-powered analytics by building robust data foundations.
• Partner with AI Engineers to integrate structured and unstructured data into GenAI applications.
• Build metadata, lineage, and governance workflows aligned with enterprise standards.

• Build data solutions supporting merchandising, pricing, inventory, customer analytics, and digital commerce.
• Translate business requirements into scalable data architectures and analytical workflows.

• 4–7 years in data engineering, analytics engineering, or cloud engineering.
• Strong proficiency in SQL
  , Python
  , and cloud-native data pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with GCP
  , especially Big Query
  , Cloud Storage
  , and Dataflow
  .
• Experience with feature engineering
  , predictive modeling support
  , or LLM/GenAI data preparation
  .
• Experience in Retail, Fashion Retail, or B2C Commerce strongly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field.

• Demonstrate ownership, curiosity, and craftsmanship in engineering.
• Contribute to reusable frameworks, accelerators, and best practices.
