The Distribution Center Loss Prevention & Safety Manager provides guidance on risk that impacts Ollie’s associates and profitability. This position is responsible for overall safety programs, loss prevention initiatives and managing accidents within the Distribution Center.

• Develop, implement and analyze all programs in the Distribution Center related to shrink, safety, and risk.
• Plan, design and implement loss prevention and safety processes and report their effectiveness.
• Lead safety program initiatives and ensure compliance with laws.
• Provide guidance and support to all Safety Associates and Managers.
• Act as the point of contact for associate accidents and injuries.
• Investigate and preserve evidence for all accidents, partnering with HR, Safety, Risk and Loss Prevention.
• Ensure new hires are trained on safety expectations and OSHA requirements.
• Maintain compliance with OSHA certifications and other applicable laws.
• Oversee physical security and manage security associates.
• Partner with HR to conduct investigations for shrink-related issues.
• Monitor and maintain CCTV, alarm monitoring and maintenance.
• Maintain fire and burglar alarm monitoring and maintenance.
• Execute business plans to limit risk and prepare for emergency response.
• Facilitate all training related to emergency response procedures.
• Develop, test, and monitor emergency and evacuation procedures.
Complete any additional responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 2–3 years of related experience.
• Effective communication with management, associates, customers, vendors, and contractors.
• Ability to analyze and assess the financial impact of accidents.
• Trainer-level experience with all relevant equipment.

Ability to properly handle sensitive and confidential information.

Independent decision making is required.

Physical Requirements
• Lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Frequent computer use.
• Travel short and long distances.
• Manage and oversee low voltage work.
• Maintain constant alertness and work safely.
