WHAT YOU’LL DO
  • Assembles fabricated parts into large or heavy subassemblies and completes units
  • Fits, tests, and calibrates parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications
  • Conducts welding, riveting, and trimming of parts to fit or align components
  • Uses hand and power tools, jigs, fixtures, and other assembly equipment
  • Regularly stand while performing job duties
  • Use hands frequently for handling, adjusting, or assembling parts; reach with hands and arms
  • Walk, sit, talk, and hear regularly
  • Lift or move up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 35 pounds occasionally
  • Maintain required vision abilities, including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, and depth perception
  • Occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts, vibration, and a usually moderate noise level while performing this job
  • Perform other duties as assigned

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
  • High school diploma or GED; or one to three months of related experience or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to read and understand simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; able to write basic correspondence
  • Ability to communicate effectively in one‑on‑one and small‑group settings with customers, clients, and coworkers
  • Ability to follow written, verbal, or diagram‑based instructions and solve routine problems involving multiple concrete variables
  • Basic math skills, including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals; ability to calculate rates, ratios, and percentages and interpret bar graphs
  • Ability to perform all essential job duties reliably and effectively
  • Commitment to safety, including wearing safety glasses and steel‑toed shoes, completing forklift training when required, using proper lifting techniques, participating in hazard‑communication training, and understanding emergency procedures
