Black’s Creek Baptist Church was established in 1803. A loving and mission‑mindful Georgia Baptist congregation located in Commerce, Georgia, serving our community for the past 222 years. Our church is deeply committed to biblical teaching, spiritual growth, evangelism, discipleship, missions, and service within our community. We are prayerfully seeking a full‑time servant‑leader whom God is preparing to shepherd our congregation.

Black’s Creek Baptist Church accepts and affirms the Baptist Faith & Message (2000) as adopted by the SBC on July 14, 2000. The church voluntarily affiliates with the Southern Baptist Convention and the Sarepta Baptist Mission Network.

• Has a genuine personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a passion for sharing the Gospel.
• Holds a firm commitment to biblical teaching and sound doctrine, and can preach and teach the Word clearly and faithfully.
• Demonstrates strong leadership and shepherding skills – able to lead worship services, preach messages, and oversee pastoral responsibilities with compassion and integrity.
• Is gifted in building relationships within the congregation – nurturing spiritual growth, shepherding families, ministering to youth, mentoring leaders, and providing pastoral care.
• Values community outreach and missions, with a vision for engaging and serving the wider community.
• Is committed to working collaboratively with church leadership, staff, and volunteers to support church ministries, discipleship efforts, and community/fellowship events.
• Has strong communication skills, a humble spirit, and a servant’s heart – ready to support, encourage, and lead by example.
