Role Description

This is a full‑time, on‑site role for an Assistant Manager located in Commerce, GA. The Assistant Manager will support daily store operations, including supervising staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining sales goals. Additional responsibilities include coordinating donation processes, managing inventory, ensuring operational efficiency, and maintaining a safe and welcoming store environment. The role requires collaboration and leadership to support employees in their roles and contribute to the store’s overall success.

• Customer service and interpersonal skills to create positive shopping experiences and engage with donors and staff effectively.
• Organizational and time‑management skills to oversee store operations and inventory control.
• Flexibility, problem‑solving abilities, and adaptability in a dynamic retail environment.
• Proficiency in basic computer and point‑of‑sale systems; experience in retail or similar environments is an advantage.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to create a collaborative and inclusive workplace.
• An understanding of and commitment to Goodwill's mission and values is highly desirable.
