Sales Support Associate
Overview: The Sales Support Associate is an integral part of the store’s success and efficiency, ensuring a memorable customer experience through friendly, efficient interactions at the cash wrap and a well‑maintained sales floor. Accurate, effective work supports the flow of product from receipt through the point of sale.
Cash Wrap- Greet customers with a smile, eye contact, and introduce yourself.
- Interact genuinely and naturally with customers.
- Read cues and determine customer needs.
- Conduct email/name capture (where permitted by law).
- Maintain accuracy when operating POS.
- Maintain cash wrap organization and cleanliness.
- Suggest multiple add‑ons and sell gift cards.
- Keep cash and POS media compliant with Coach policy.
- Thank customers genuinely and provide reasons to return.
- Represent Coach brand appropriately.
- Receive shipments and transfers.
- Notify Store Management of new product arrival.
- Scan cartons/transfers and verify store information.
- Communicate discrepancies to Store Management.
- Process shipment/transfers per Coach standards and time frames.
- Organize and clean stockroom daily.
- Shift/organize product for sell‑through and new product placement.
- Manage stock levels/product ownership in back‑of‑house and sales floor.
- Prepare and conduct regular cycle counts as directed.
- Participate in store physical inventory counts on schedule.
- Maintain company loss prevention standards.
- Analyze sales floor regularly to assess replenishment needs.
- Replenish sales floor/assigned zone.
- Answer sell‑through and visual merchandising needs.
- Support sales floor activities as directed.
- Communicate price points, features/benefits, color, and stock availability to multiple customers.
- Respond to customer requests confidently; partner with sales team or Store Management when needed.
- Maintain housekeeping standards.
- Drive for Results – consistently exceed goals, bottom‑line oriented.
- Customer Focus – build trust, meet internal/external customer expectations.
- Creativity – generate unique ideas and connect unrelated concepts.
- Interpersonal Savvy – build constructive relationships, handle high-tension situations with diplomacy.

- Perseverance – sustain energy and drive to finish tasks, especially under pressure.
- Dealing with Ambiguity – act without the full picture, handle change and uncertainty comfortably.
- Experience: 1–3 years retail (cashier/stock), preferably luxury retail; current knowledge of fashion trends.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
- Technical: Cash register systems, basic computer skills (iPad, laptop, Mobile POS, internet), walkie‑talkie use, price/product sheet reading.
- Physical: Fast pace, frequent lifting up to 50 lbs, maneuver sales floor and stockroom, climbing, bending, kneeling.
- Schedule: Flexibility for nights, weekends, holidays and high‑traffic days (e.g., Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve).
